- Review the draft Statement of Work and submit. A Service Agreement record is created in Hopbox's billing system; sales reviews, counter-signs and contacts you within 2 business days.
- Onboarding starts after both signatures and the first invoice clears.

Open core, escape hatch built in
The endpoint agent is GPL; the server is AGPL with a dual licence for Self-Hosted customers who don't want copyleft propagation. Lock-in is commercial, not technical — you can take your data and your config and walk.
No surprise renewals
Rates are locked for the full commit term. Annual price escalator capped at 7% at renewal. Smart Pack customers can downgrade to a smaller pack at renewal if you've shrunk. Full clauses appear on your draft SOW.
